Wake Up People! Medical Fascism May Be Headed Your Way.

The spirit of Senator Ted Kennedy lives on and the U.S. appears to be headed into medical fascism with Massachusetts leading the way. This comes with the passage of state Bill 2028 , commonly referred to as the “Pandemic Response Bill”, which is awaiting approval in the House. Bill 2028 suspends virtually all Constitutional rights of Massachusetts citizens. It forces anyone “suspected” of being infected to submit to interrogations, “decontaminations” and vaccines. It’s also sets fines up to $1,000 per day and possible imprisonment for anyone refusing to submit to quarantines, vaccinations, decontamination efforts or to follow any other verbal order by virtually any state-licensed law enforcement or medical personnel. Violation of 4th Amendment:Illegal search and seizure : ”During either type of declared emergency, a local public health authority…may exercise authority…to require the owner or occupier of premises to permit entry into and investigation of the premises; to close...

HIGH SCHOOL -- 1977 vs. 2007

Scenario 1: Jack goes quail hunting before school and then pulls into the school parking lot with his shotgun in his truck's gun rack. 1977 - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack's shotgun, goes to his car and gets his shotgun to show Jack. 2007 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for traumatized students and teachers. Scenario 2: Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school. 1977 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up buddies. 2007 - Police called and SWAT team arrives -- they arrest both Johnny and Mark. They are both charged them with assault and both expelled even though Johnny started it. Scenario 3: Jeffrey will not be still in class, he disrupts other students. 1977 - Jeffrey sent to the Principal's office and given a good paddling by the Principal. He then returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again. 2007 - Jeffrey is giv...

L’shanah tovah

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year (literally “head of the year”), is a Biblical holiday that occurs on the first and second of Tishri (September or October). Rosh Hashanah is the day that God created man. Rosh Hashanah is a time to begin introspection, looking back at the mistakes of the past year and planning the changes to make in the new year. The Bible refers to the holiday as Yom Ha-Zikkaron (the day of remembrance) or Yom Teruah (the day of the sounding of the shofar). The holiday is instituted in Leviticus 23:24-25. No work is permitted on Rosh Hashanah. Much of the day is spent in synagogue. where the regular daily prayers are expanded. There is a special prayer book called the Machzor used for Rosh Hashanah. Religious services for the holiday focus on the concept of God’s sovereignty. Another popular observance during this holiday is eating apples dipped in honey, a symbol of our wish for a sweet new year. Another popular practice of the holiday is Tashlikh (”casting off”)....

Happy Constitution Day!

Image
Every September 17 is Constitution Day , when America celebrates the important day—now 222 years ago—when the framers of the Constitution signed the document that has endured (more or less) as the longest-living constitution in the world. But you wouldn’t know it by looking at the Chief Executive’s website. I’ve searched the White House’s website for at least a “hat tip” in honor of today. Instead, I found on the WH site Barack Obama’s full-court press on the health care plan that would further extend the power of the federal government beyond the boundaries set in the Constitution. Appropriate, then, that he has neglected to give lip service to the Constitution because he is too busy campaigning for another unconstitutional power grab that subverts the “supreme law of the land.” Of course, the blame for unconstitutional government programs must be checked and balanced against the two other branches of government. Congress, particularly this one, is usually all to eager to over...

OK...let me get this straight...voicing a truthful opinion, bad...Defrauding the govenment and child prostitution, good?

We knew it was coming, Congressman Joe Wilson was to be taken to the woodshed yesterday . The House did not disappoint . Their most common punishments for members are expulsion, censure, reprimand or fine. But they decided to use a lesser measure, a "resolution of disapproval." Wilson's conduct was cited as a "breach of decorum and degraded the proceedings of the joint session, to the discredit of the House." The vote was, understandably, divided along party lines. I'm not sure if the Democrats have exhausted their outrage, yet. Presumably, they are now ready to get back to business as usual. Here is an irony. Fox News has been showing a series of video-taped interchanges between Acorn staff members and a filmmaker and associate posing as a pimp and prostitute. Click here to watch one . Here's another . A fourth videotape was shown last night and another is promised for today. The one from last night was outrageous ! I have no doubt there will be an amp...

A "Talk" With Senator Richard Lugar's Office

Melissa Lineberry, the Indiana Interim State Coordinator for Campaign For Liberty , had been trying to contact Indiana Senators Richard Lugar and Even Bayh to find out when they would be in state during this last Congressional recess. The main reason for the inquiry was to invite them to attend a Town Hall meeting during the break to see where they stood to vote on several upcoming issues. Senator Bayh’s office answered promptly in the negative. “Dear Melissa, Thank you for your scheduling request. There are no town halls scheduled for the Senator's trip to the state during August recess. The Senator will be traveling around Indiana for his annual Job Fairs, which he does at this time every year. If you or these constituents would like to meet with a Regional Director to discuss issues or concerns, please let me know. I am happy to contact the correct individual to set up a meeting for you. Thank you again for your request. Sincerely, Stephanie Cherkezian Deputy Scheduler Office ...

OK...what if we just call him a prevaricator?

Did anyone listen to Mark Levin yesterday? Wow! There is no way I can do his opening monologue any justice. What he did say is that the left is going to make every attempt to use the two words uttered by South Carolina Congressman, Joe Wilson – “you lie” – to demonize the right and put up a smoke screen to obstruct the truth. Levin then goes on to tell listeners that our country is being dismantled by Obama and the last thing anyone should be concerned about is what Joe Wilson said. Mr. Levin also reminded listeners all of the name calling and “vitriol”, as Mr. Obama called it, we on the right have been called since the beginning of the campaign. Here’s a partial list: bitter, angry, white American, gun clinger, Nazi, racist, terrorist, un-American, etc. Our freedoms are being destroyed and our country, at least the one I learned about in history and grew up appreciating and respecting, is being dismantled by a radical thug who has surrounded himself with other radical thugs, all dete...

What is a Czar?

The following is from the "A Conservative Kid" blog. With the resignation of Anthony "Van" Jones I felt a revisit to this information was warranted. It is brought out clearer than I had time to put together over this last holiday weekend. For a more current view check out Amy L. Geiger-Hemmer's blog from this past Sunday. For a really good look at the Czar list and who is filling these unconstitutional positions of power, check out this posting over at "The Adventures of Mr. Buff" What is a Czar, and Why Does Obama Have 16 of Them? Czar – noun 1. An Emperor or king 2. An Autocratic ruler or leader 3. Any person exercising great authority or power in a particular field (source dictionary.com) Before you get worked up over the definition of a Czar, it should be known that we have used them in our history before. Roosevelt was the first president to use Czars in his administration, they were, at the time called Dictators. They were in place to regu...

If ACORN Can’t Pay Their Taxes, How Can They Pay for Activism?

Pelican Institute for Public Policy , the premier think-tank in Louisiana, uncovered evidence last week that proves that the far-Left activism group, ACORN , and several “closely-related groups” owe more than $1 million in backed state and federal taxes. These findings, validated by Orleans Parish court records, also indicated that the organization “paid off more than $1.1 million in late bills since January of 2008.” The organization, based in New Orleans, La. and operating in partnership with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), has accounts delinquent since 2004, including one tax bill totaling $545,000. ACORN (Associations of Community Organizations for Reform) and its affiliate companies have outstanding federal tax liabilities of $1 million and four Louisiana tax bills of at least $28,000. In March 2008 alone, nearly $1.2 million in federal tax liens were filed against ACORN and its related groups with only some of them being cleared upon payment. According to Pe...

Another Lesson on the Federal Reserve

Image
Not a day goes by without talk of the Federal Reserve, whether by the organization itself or by its opponents. An incessant cheerleader of his organization, Chairman Ben Bernanke will be the first to tell you that the Federal Reserve is an utmost necessity to the smooth operation of the U.S. financial system. Some would disagree. And while ongoing events can be difficult to objectively examine, hindsight is usually much more prescient. Let's set aside what The Fed says for a moment and examine what it actually does. * From 1776 to 1912 (136 years), the value of the dollar, relative to the Consumer Price Index, increased by 11%. A dollar could buy 11% more goods in 1912 than in 1776. Thus, if in 1776, you sat on your savings pile of $1,000,000 for 136 years, it would then be worth $1,110,000 in purchasing power (it will have appreciated in value by 11%). A loaf of bread for Thomas Jefferson cost the same as a loaf of bread for Lincoln 50 years later and again the same for J.P. M...

ObamaCare … the MS Vista of Government Programs

I think the main problem the left is having with ObamaCare is that they have treated it like an ad campaign, seeing the bill as a product to sell to the public. But they have not addressed the fundamental problems with the product they are trying to sell. ObamaCare is the Microsoft Vista of government programs. The government is claiming it will solve all your problems and make your life perfect forever. But consumers see it as just another bloated program that will screw up everything that’s working fine right now. The Government is also like Microsoft in that it’s become so pervasive, you can’t get away from it. Also like Microsoft, because of their exposure to the product, the public is broadly aware of its flaws. And both Microsoft and the Government are noted for Bloatware and indifference to the buying public. The left are ill-equipped to handle this particular marketing campaign, because the Democrats have been lying and using euphemisms for so long, it’s left them with zero pub...

Small Child Made to Pray for Socialism at Teddy's Funeral

You never want a funeral to go to waste, as Rahm Emanuel might say. From the mouths of babes comes contrived BULL. With all the screaming and crying by the Dems on how the protests against the health care legislation is being staged, they have the gall to stage this travesty? Yes...Senator Kennedy was one of the lead proponents for health care but this? This even sinks below what even he might have staged. Lonely Boy: Oldest Swinger In Town:
