Internet FCC Rules Dec 21 Deadline

There is very important, one-of-a-kind, information enclosed below about Mr. Obama and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) wanting to control YOUR Internet freedoms. Please read every word to understand the totality of this threat to your freedoms. Thank you, Barack Obama has a "Christmas surprise" for the American people. It's based upon the FCC's self-imposed December 21 deadline to implement new Internet rules. Via the FCC, Mr. Obama wants to take control of the Internet---YOUR Internet---your ability to contact your friends, your relatives, and your elected representatives in government. This "stealth" use of new rules and regulations will sneak up on us just before Christmas. Quite frankly, not too many people know about this; or really take the notion seriously, because, after all, we have the 1st Amendment to the U. S. Constitution to protect us. Right? Wrong! The FCC is ready to add the Internet to its "portfolio" of regulated indus...

Congressional Reform Act of 2010

Below is a suggested act for those wonderful members of our legislative branch of government. Congressional Reform Act of 2010 1. Term Limits. 12 years only, one of the possible options below.. A. Two Six-year Senate terms B. Six Two-year House terms C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms 2. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office. 3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. 4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as...

The Constitution Project

Do you believe the Constitution is the rule of law? Do you believe in the original intent of our founding fathers? Do you want to reform Congress? I’m not talking about reforming a Democratic Congress, but Congress. If your answer is yes, we have to work together to make this happen. The goal in it’s entirety is to make all three branches of government respect and abide by the rule of law, know as the Constitution of the United States of America. The most egregious of offenses against the Constitution is from Congress, so the focus will begin with the Legislative branch. It requires you to do some homework, because you have to know what you are talking about. 1. “ We The People ” need to read the Constitution. It is about four thousand, four hundred and forty (4440) words and will take less than an evening to do. Some may have to digest and research to understand what these wise men meant. Please try to understand it. Here are links to an online Constitution and a pocket Constitution ...

Mr. Obama Promised Us The Same Health Care As Congress Has

On the campaign trail, President Obama promised us that we would have access to the same kind of health coverage that Congress has. Here is an excerpt from a speech given by then candidate Obama on September 20, 2008 at Bethune-Cookman University: “Change means keeping the promise of affordable, accessible health care for every single American. Under my plan, if you have health insurance, nothing changes for you, except that my plan will lower your health care costs. If you don’t, you’ll be able to get the same kind of coverage that members of Congress give themselves.” Full transcript here. But with the new health care bill exactly the opposite of this is happening. First of all the plans Congress has available to them are second to none . Second, there is a provision in the bill to exempt members of congress from the regulations in the bill . What is more under this bill if you don’t have a “qualified plan” you will be fined for several thousand dollars. The other problem in the qu...

With or without our consent: The "Cap & Trade" Bill passes the House

With or without our consent the powers that be in our supposed House of Representatives once again said they don't care what the majority of their constituents want and passed H.R. 2454: The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 Here’s a PDF link to the bill passed by congress today and heading for the Senate. HR 2454 BTW, the vote was 219-212 with enough Republicans crossing the aisle to pass it. I would openly like to thank my own Congressman Joe Donnelly for having the sense and the intestinal fortitude to go against his party. Only 2 Indiana Representatives, Democrats Andre’ Carson from the 7 th district and Baron Hill from the 9 th , voted for HR 2454. Want to see how your Congressman voted on this bill? And here are some highlights of the 300 page amendment tacked on in the wee hours of the morning. It was amazing to listen to Boehner run down the 300+ page amendment to the bill that got dumped on Congress at 3 AM Friday morning. Among th...

Open letter to Congressman Joe Donnelly On HR-2454

Below is a copy of the message I have sent to my Congressman Joe Donnelly "Representative Donnelly, HR 2454, the "Cap-and-Trade" bill scheduled to come before you for a vote very soon, is nothing more than a thinly disguised energy tax that will hit every single American. I have called and left a message to let you know That I personally am against this and as my representative I ask that you take this into consideration when you vote. If those I have been talking to locally are any indication a large majority of your constituents have no clue as to the impact this is going to have on their lives if passed. I am hoping that you sir ARE aware. Even tho the goal of this bill is a lofty one and it may force a change in the way energy is produced in this country, it's counterparts around the world have failed miserably. President Obama himself claimed in several campaign speeches before the election that if this plan was put into effect it would rais...

TODAY the Senate is voting on yet another massive spending bill -- the $410 billion omnibus appropriations bill that contains more than 2,900 pages! Worse yet, the bill is laden with 8,500 pork-filled earmarks totaling more than $7.7 billion including: --$1.8 million for pig odor and manure management --$200,000 for a "tattoo-removal violence-outreach program" in Los Angeles --$1.9 million for a water taxi service in Connecticut (this is actually being called the taxi to nowhere) --$473,000 for National Council of La Raza (which has supported radical Mexican nationalism within our borders) --$951,500 for "Sustainable Las Vegas" --$300,000 for the Montana World Trade Center --$238,000 for the Polynesian Voyaging Society in Honolulu, Hawaii. --$280,000 for alternative uses for tobacco --$400,000 to combat bullying in Montana --$2 million "for the pr...
