Walking Again — Stewardship of Restored Strength

  Living as those who have been given life again When strength begins to return, a new responsibility appears. We are not owners of our recovered health; we are stewards. Romans 12:1 calls us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God. The strength the Lord restores is to be used for His glory, not merely for our former comforts or ambitions. Psalm 116:12-14 asks the right question: “What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.” Recovery is a fresh opportunity to walk carefully, redeem the time, and serve with the strength that remains. Some will be restored to full former strength. Others will walk with a limp, like Jacob after Peniel, yet still lean on the Lord.
