"For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” — Leviticus 17:11 (KJV) Dear fellow believers who still cling to the old Book, the old paths, and the old-time religion—welcome to this straight-from-the-heart Bible study. In a world drowning in feel-good sermons, self-help spirituality, and churches too embarrassed to mention the blood, we refuse to compromise. Today we open God’s Word to one of the most powerful verses in the entire Bible: Leviticus 17:11. This is not ancient history for Jews only. This is the beating heart of the Gospel that saves your soul and mine.   The Divine Declaration: Life Is in the Blood God Himself speaks with thunderous clarity: “The life of the flesh is in the blood.” Modern science only confirms what Moses wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost three thousand years ago. That Hour on Calvary: The Trial and the Cross

Grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. If you are a conservative Christian who still holds the King James Bible as the final authority, who believes in the blood atonement , the virgin birth , the bodily resurrection , and the soon return of the Lord, then these two chapters are the very heart of our faith.   We have followed our Saviour through “that last week” (John 12), “that last night” in the Upper Room (John 13-17). Now we arrive at ** that hour on Calvary **—the hour for which He came into the world. John 18 and 19 record the arrest, the sham trials, the scourging, the crucifixion, and the triumphant cry “It is finished.” This is not religious sentiment; this is the gospel in its raw, blood-bought reality. Let us open the infallible Word of God. 1. The Arrest and Betrayal – “I Am He” (John 18:1-11) Jesus goes forth into the Garden of Gethsemane with His disciples. Judas arrives with a band of soldier...

Beloved brethren and sisters in Christ, If you are a Bible-believing, blood-bought, fundamentalist Christian who still holds fast to the old paths, then this message is for you. Turn with me to the Gospel of John, chapter 12 . This is no ordinary chapter in Scripture. This is the divine record of ** that last week **—the final seven days of our Lord Jesus Christ’s public ministry before He went to the cross for the sins of the world. Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrives in Bethany , the home of Lazarus whom He had raised from the dead. The air is thick with destiny. The crowds are swelling. The religious leaders are already plotting His death. And the Savior of the world is deliberately walking straight into the storm that will redeem humanity. This is not dusty ancient history, dear friends. This is the living pattern of every soul that ever comes face-to-face with the King of kings. In John 12 the Holy Spirit clearly shows us three distinct responses to Jesus Christ during H...
