We knew it was coming, Congressman Joe Wilson was to be taken to the woodshed yesterday . The House did not disappoint . Their most common punishments for members are expulsion, censure, reprimand or fine. But they decided to use a lesser measure, a "resolution of disapproval." Wilson's conduct was cited as a "breach of decorum and degraded the proceedings of the joint session, to the discredit of the House." The vote was, understandably, divided along party lines. Did anyone listen to Mark Levin yesterday? Wow! There is no way I can do his opening monologue any justice. What he did say is that the left is going to make every attempt to use the two words uttered by South Carolina Congressman, Joe Wilson – “you lie” – to demonize the right and put up a smoke screen to obstruct the truth. Levin then goes on to tell listeners that our country is being dismantled by Obama and the last thing anyone should be concerned about is what Joe Wilson said. Mr. Levin also reminded listeners all of the name calling and “vitriol”, as Mr. Obama called it, we on the right have been called since the beginning of the campaign.
