This is not optional encouragement; it is a divine mandate flowing from our identity in Christ. Salt preserves against decay and adds distinctive flavor. Light exposes darkness, guides the lost, and glorifies the Father through visible good works. This five-part series draws deeply from both Testaments to show the biblical foundations, Old Testament shadows, New Testament fulfillment, serious warnings, and practical outworking of this calling. Each post is written for a conservative, fundamentalist Christian audience that holds to the inerrancy of Scripture, salvation by grace through faith alone, and the necessity of holy separation from the world while actively engaging it with the gospel.
