Do you believe the Constitution is the rule of law? Do you believe in the original intent of our founding fathers? Do you want to reform Congress? I’m not talking about reforming a Democratic Congress, but Congress. If your answer is yes, we have to work together to make this happen. The goal in it’s entirety is to make all three branches of government respect and abide by the rule of law, know as the Constitution of the United States of America. The most egregious of offenses against the Constitution is from Congress, so the focus will begin with the Legislative branch. It requires you to do some homework, because you have to know what you are talking about. 1. “ We The People ” need to read the Constitution. Ever had something come to you in the night that you just had to put to paper? I literally dreamed this last night...going to lay the " blame " on my daughter-in-law Heidi. On the campaign trail, President Obama promised us that we would have access to the same kind of health coverage that Congress has. Here is an excerpt from a speech given by then candidate Obama on September 20, 2008 at Bethune-Cookman University: “Change means keeping the promise of affordable, accessible health care for every single American. Under my plan, if you have health insurance, nothing changes for you, except that my plan will lower your health care costs. You may have seen Wednesday's video of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) speaking on her cell phone while a cancer survivor spoke to her about health care reform. Well now comes news that the pro-Obamacare voices in the crowd were not entirely legitimate . A primary care physician identified as Dr. Roxana Meyer stood up and praised the President’s health care plan for overhauling a broken system. Meyer said: “I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic .” The Congresswoman asked the crowd to give her a round of applause for being a doctor , hugged her and then asked “How long have you been practicing?” to which “Dr.” Meyer answered “Four years,” which was followed by more applause and a gushing grin on the face of “Dr.” Meyer. It is being reported that existing home sales are starting to rebound. Well, duh! After the market price of a home drops 18+% in a single year and the government is paying first time buyers $8,000 to buy a house what would you expect? A $150,000 house is now worth $123,000 minus a $8,000 coupon (on the taxpayer’s dime) = $115,000. Is it a good sign though? The Realtors' association says that based on historical data, the pending sales numbers do closely track future sales. But the correlation is much stronger in the year-over-year data than it is in the month-over-month numbers. The increase over March 2008 was much more modest, just 1.1%. Historical context may mean nothing in this downturn. Despite what big banks are telling Congress, it's very difficult to get a loan these days.
